Honourable President, Mr Norman Henderson retired from
the post to be able to spend more time in warmer climes.
He was awarded a Quaich for his steadfast and true

Once again the AGM
is upon us, and to encourage your attendance and your active
participation, we are offering TWO FREE DRAMS. We plan
to sit down to dinner at 19:00 hrs and you will be able to enjoy
our usual offer of good food, wine and coffee at our subsidised
price of NOK 400 per head. As is usual, there will be no guest
speaker and when the tables have been cleared, we shall remain
seated and move on to the main business of the evening.

this meeting is only open for Society members who have paid
their current subscription.

The March Meeting is Cancelled
Gentlemen – the Committee
regrets to inform you that there will not be a March meeting
this year as we have been unable to find a speaker.
The next meeting is therefore
the Society’s AGM, to be held on Thursday 24th
April 2008. In accordance with the Society’s Constitution,
any member may propose an amendment to the Constitution.
These proposals must be received in writing by the
Secretary, prior to 24th March (one calendar
month before the AGM).
