Caledonian Summer Meeting

on FRIDAY 14th.JUNE

It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of your Committee, to invite you and your partner to our annual Ladies’ Evening. We hope that as many of our Members and their Ladies as possible will be able to enjoy the companionship of this our last meeting before the Summer. As has been previously intimated, our Summer Meeting with Ladies will be visiting two locations,

There, on the deck of the Polar exploration vessel, we will enjoy a pre-dinner drink. We will also get an idea of what it must have been like to enter what today are still regarded as dangerous regions with a ship and equipment which, compared with today’s standards, seem inadequate. But history tells us otherwise. Having absorbed some of the historical maritime atmosphere, we then move on to the restaurant “Najaden” where an impressive view of the fjord awaits us. Here we can continue to enjoy our evening together.

Practical details are as follows:

Prawns with trimmings and two glasses of white wine at the restaurant “Najaden” can then be enjoyed at the subsidised cost of Kr. 250,- per person. All other wines/beverages and food must be ordered and paid for by those ordering.

BUS Number 30

There are two buses which leave National Teateret at convenient times:
Depart National Teateret at 17.52 Arrive at FREDRIKSBORG bus stop at 18.06
Depart National Teateret at 18.07 Arrive at FREDRIKSBORG bus stop at 18.21

From this bus stop there is a walk of approximately 8 minutes to Fram-huset.

BOAT

Depart RÅDHUSBRYGGEN 17.45. Journey time approx. 20 minutes.
Arrival here is close to Fram-huset.
