The world famous Largs Viking Festival takes place every year in Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland, as crowds gather from near and far to celebrate Viking heritage in Largs, notably the Battle of Largs 1263 (the last Viking invasion in the UK).

Heraldic Migration from Scotland to Norway and visa versa - facts and fiction.
Our speaker this evening is Kaare Seeberg Sidselrud who is an accomplished heraldry expert and secretary of the Norwegian Heraldry Society. Heraldry is the science of coats of arms. The Norwegian Heraldry Society is the Norwegian institution for everybody who takes an interest in heraldry, seals, merchants’ marks, flags, badges etc.

Middle Ear Music will have a concert for St Andrews day at Margaretakyrkans menighetshus on Friday 28th November 2008 at 20.00
The Oslo Caledonian Pipe Band will play outside from 18.45 as an opening fanfare and Alexander MacAllister ? will play a unique selection of songs and guitar solos with a Scottish connection.....
