Middle Ear Music is represented in Noway by Alexander MacAllister? who is a Scottish artist resident in Oslo. As well as having an extensive classical background (including a BA in Opera Studies), he is also well versed in rock, blues and folk music. His most important field is that of songs with original guitar accompaniment by prominent composers of the last two hundred years, and Romantic concert works on a ten-string guitar, with ALL the bass notes in place! This instrument also opens up the possibility of performing lute and guitar repertoire from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, rendering versions which are faithful to the original text.
